Late Game Huskies Drill: Creative Ways to Practice End-of-Game Situations & Improve Your Team’s Basketball IQ

Have you ever been frustrated in the last ninety seconds of a game, down by four points, imploring your team to foul but not getting anyone to execute? We’ve all been there!

How often do you practice end-of-game situations with your team? What drills, activities, or situations do you use to raise the collective intelligence of your players?

The activity outlined below comes courtesy of the Washington Huskies women’s team. I love the approach because it introduces late game situations in an organic way, creating unique situations every time you run the segment with your team.

Feel free to download the drill notes below to add to your library. Please, let us know your favorite methods for drilling late game sessions. We’d love to hear!
